Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky is ready to mark its 30th anniversary on it’s sprawling Scott County campus with a celebration and reopening of its revamped visitors center.
Officials will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday morning.
The company says the plant has produced more than 10 million vehicles, primarily Camry and Avalon models. In addition, last October the plant began producing the Lexus ES 350, the first Lexus made in the U.S.
Toyota says about 8,000 people are employed at the plant.
